Nilfisk-Advance new global account

DSV has signed a 3 year contract with Nilfisk-Advance with an estimated annual turnover of around USD 10 million.

DSV will handle transport and logistics for Nilfisk-Advance in USA, China, Australia, Italy, Hungary and Denmark.

One of the reasons Nilfisk-Advance chose DSV is the very professional way that the entire DSV organisation has handled the tender process, from central tender management to local country organisations.

We were satisfied with the tender process as well as the offer, of course. Now that we are well into the implementation process we have been impressed by the flexibility and ambition of DSV, says Christian Sander, Director of Global Transport, Nilfisk-Advance.

Getting the details right

The implementation phase of the contract will be handled by our Design & Implementation team. The team works to ensure that the agreed processes and timelines are followed and no disruptions occur.

Nilfisk-Advance has been focussed on getting all the details right from the start and setting the bar high for our cooperation. This is very important during implementation, and I am sure it will pay dividends over the next years, says Line Pauli, Global Accounts Manager, DSV.

Mirrored organisation supports cooperation

The organisations working together are mirrored in Nilfisk-Advance and DSV to ensure the best possible communication process. Both are headed by a Global Account Sponsor.

We have a command and communication structure that both parties use and know. That way, we can deliver what Nilfisk-Advance asks of us quickly and efficiently, says Peter Larsen, Global Account Sponsor for DSV.

Nilfisk-Advance is one of the world's leading manufacturers of professional cleaning equipment with headquarters in Denmark.
