Kenya is the world's fifth largest exporter of cut flowers (2015) and grows almost 4 in 10 of the cut roses sold in Europe.
"The largest African flower show IFTEX is a great opportunity for us to meet with existing and potential customers and provides a perfect platform to market our transport services ranging from perishables to general cargo," says Gerrishom Obayo, General Manager (Airfreight), DSV Kenya.
The DSV Fresh team was present together with our general cargo colleagues from DSV Nairobi and the event provided many opportunities for in depth discussions with customers.
IFTEX in Kenya is among the greatest shows in the flower industry and this year's event also marked Kenya Flower Council's (KFC) 20 year anniversary.
