New agent in Iran provides opportunities in growth market

A new collaboration with the agency, Seven Seas, opens up new possibilities for air, sea and road transport services to and from Iran.

DSV has expanded its representation to three new ports north of Tehran and beyond the Caspian Sea through our new agent in Iran. Business Development Manager with expertise in Iran, Anne Henriksen, comments on the opportunities in Iran and the Caspian Sea:

"With the ports of Anzali, Noashar and Amir Abad, we are stronger in the northern part of Tehran and can offer new solutions – especially within ‘cross-trade’ between Iran and Russia and CIS countries via the Caspian Sea."

Seven Seas Co. Ltd – strong representation and experience in Iran

Seven Seas was founded in 1990 and has many years of experience with international customers and transports in and outside of Iran. The family-owned business has a staff of well-educated employees and a structured approach to each transport assignment.

Anne Henriksen further comments: ”Seven Seas is a family-owned company with proud traditions and a strong representation and a solid network within Iran. Their main office is located in Teheran with offices in all ports - from Chabahar in the south to Khoramshah in the north.”

Anne elaborates:” Efficiency, safety and transparent communication are important principles in DSV and therefore it is a high priority for us that our agent in Iran is aligned with us.”

After the UN sanctions were lifted in January 2016, Iran has become a large growth market with exports doubled in a year to around EUR 13.7 billion per annum.
