Preparations for Brexit are picking up

29 March is the date the UK will exit the EU. There is still no deal, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be prepared for the outcome whatever and whenever that may be

All DSV countries affected by Brexit have been preparing for the UK’s exit from the EU since the beginning of 2018. In the past months, however, preparations have intensified, and we are now reaching out to our customers and partners to make sure they can make the transition as smoothly as possible.

Webinars, breakfasts, workshops and seminars

While DSV is of course coordinating Brexit preparations centrally through the DSV Brexit Group Project team, the individual DSV countries are in charge of local preparations and customer relationship management.

At DSV, we like to stay close to our customers and organise touchpoints where we can meet and discuss any challenges and concerns. So, in addition to the daily dialogue about moving shipments, many of our big UK import and export countries have arranged a series of Brexit events.

The format varies from country to country; webinars, breakfasts, workshops and seminars/talks. But they all focus on addressing the challenges ahead and engaging with our customers and partners to ensure that they’re adequately prepared regardless of the final Brexit deal.
