We are looking for an Account Manager for our fast-growing DSV Solutions division, located in Venlo.

What are you going to do?

As an Account Manager within DSV Solutions, you are naturally responsible for maintaining and realizing growth of our strategic customers. You are closely involved in the implementation of new customers, you monitor our services for existing customers and you look after new wishes and the implementation thereof.

Your working week consists of actively participating in the business review, monitoring KPIs, and coordinating this with our Customer Service Department, but also with your colleagues in the warehouse. You validate Business Change Requests and the changing documentation involved, you analyze volume data on a daily basis and you know how to translate this into strategic plans.

The role of Account Manager at DSV has a strategic and tactical nature, where knowledge of 3PL (Warehousing) is a must! Your activities also consist of:

  • Initiating and following up structural operational and strategic discussions;
  • You are responsible for structuring, calculating and guaranteeing additional or deviating activities of 'your' customers;
  • Maintaining and expanding a network of various stakeholders within the relevant customers;
  • You are able to independently create opportunities with the assigned existing customers.

  • You have HBO work and thinking level;
  • You have at least 5 years Commercial experience or 5 years relevant experience as an Account Manager;
  • Continuous Improvement mindset;
  • Pro-active advising attitude towards your internal and external customers;
  • Command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
