We are looking for a Business Change Consultant for our fast-growing division DSV Road, located in Venlo.

The Business Change Management (BCM) department is aimed at realizing better quality services, at the lowest possible cost, for customers and the internal organization. The Business Change Consultant supports the internal organization by optimizing processes and implementing customers. You have an important roll between the operational departments and the customer. We strive for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction by means of technical solutions and process knowledge. You are a point of contact for our organization regarding customer implementations and process optimisations and you are involved in both technical and operational issues.

As a Business Change Consultant, the focus is on process improvement where you will play an important role in implementations (of both customers and applications) where quality, standardization and efficiency are paramount. Other duties are in your role

  • Supervising the (re-) implementation of new and existing customers (in coordination with Sales, Operational departments and other support departments)
  • Project management in which managing internal and customer expectations with maximum efficiency is paramount (using (DSV) standard solutions)
  • Specifying, testing and implementing EDI interfaces in close collaboration with the DSV EDI team
  • Guiding and describing User Acceptance testing and guiding and training the (key) users
  • Develop, plan and implement change processes that are initiated both locally and by group
  • Project management in which managing internal and customer expectations with maximum efficiency is paramount (using (DSV) standard solutions)
  • Improve organizational performance by optimizing (transport) processes.

What do we ask for?

  • Completed HBO education
  • Comparable work experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of or affinity with ADKAR, Change Management and EDI / myDSV
  • Knowledge of operational (transport) processes and group applications (such as CargoLink, myDSV)
  • The will and enthusiasm to quickly master systems and processes and transfer them to other colleagues
  • Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, German is an advantage
