For our fast-growing division DSV Road, location Dordrecht, we are looking for a Key Account Manager.

As an enterprising Key Account Manager you naturally have a passion for logistics and transport and you are a real networker. DSV Road BV in Dordrecht is looking for a Key Account Manager for our road transport division. In this role you are responsible for maintaining and optimizing cooperation with our customers in your region. 

You are keen in detecting commercial opportunities and you have the right knowledge and skills to realize them into a successful deal. You are able to build and actively maintain a network, both internally and externally. 

As a Key Account Manager, your duties include:

  • Developing account plans for potential accounts;
  • Delivering customized solutions to new accounts based on account plans, this is usually done in collaboration with operational managers;
  • Building and maintaining a network (internal and external);
  • Actively approach potential accounts;
  • Offering and following up quotations to potential customers;
  • Contribute to the annual Sales & Marketing plan;
  • Ensure adequate management information of the market (position) in order to be able to test the account plan;
  • Ensure correct reporting of all relevant account information in the sales information systems.

  • Have a completed HBO education, preferably in a commercial direction;
  • You have at least 4-8 years of commercial field service experience;
  • You have thorough knowledge of road transport (Road) and logistics;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language, verbally and in writing;
  • You are proactive, creative, commercial, decisive and result-oriented.
