For our Air& Sea division, location Airport Eelde, we are looking for a Sales Representative. 

For our location in Eelde, we are looking for a new commercial colleague for the sales team. Together with two colleagues (Tessa and Nick), you are proactive with the requests from existing and new customers, you quickly process these into a tailor-made offer and you maintain close contact with customers from the North-East of the Netherlands.

In Eelde we work in a team of 17 colleagues, led by Branch Manager Freddy Reugebrink. At this location we provide transport for our (inter)national customers from our region. For this we use DSV's international network with regard to air and sea freight, road transport and rail transport.

As a Sales Representative you work closely with your commercial and operational colleagues (forwarders). In this position you are in daily contact with other countries of the world and together with our customers you look for the best solution for their transport. It is also your task to follow up new leads, to handle any complaints and to periodically visit customers in the North-East of the Netherlands.

In this allround position it is important that you are enterprising, do not shy away from a challenge, but above all have an interest in logistics. You are a professional discussion partner for your (new) customers and colleagues. Your positive energy and excellent communication (in Dutch and English) is very welcome. To enjoy your work together with your colleagues and to radiate this to the outside world.

Other tasks in your position are:

  • Registration & follow up of sales leads, quotes and quotations;
  • Maintaining contact with relations (potential and existing customers);
  • Searching for solutions in the field of global transport;
  • Prepare SOPs for customers and coordinate operational implementation;
  • Visiting existing customers

  • At least a completed commercial or logistics MBO (level 4) education;

  • You are eager to get to know the diversity of logistics
  • An easy talker, team player and a social personality
  • Living in the North/North-East Netherlands region and in possession of own transport
