Maastricht-Airport will open its new location early 2023, including an influx of new customers. So a new location, new colleagues, fantastic challenges and you will be working on it!

How you do this? The customer service department is an operational department within the site and is the first point of contact for the site's various customers. The department is the pivot between customers and internal departments, ensuring that the correct data and planning are available for the inbound, order picking, VAL and outbound process in the Warehouse and that customer-specific agreements and requirements are met. Many administrative operations and planning activities are done by the customer service department. 

As a customer service representative, you perform administrative operations and planning activities. In addition, you act as a liaison between the customer, internal departments and external parties. You do this in such a way that the correct data and planning are available for the inbound, order picking and outbound process in the Warehouse and that customer-specific agreements and wishes are met. You get this done by:

  • monitoring (real-time), with the help of the warehouse management system and through internal and external coordination, the progress of the pick/pack process in relation to agreements with the customer;
  • signalling disruptions, informing the customer(s) of expected delays/changes;
  • acting as first operational point of contact for assigned customer(s) and as liaison between customer and internal departments;
  • handling and passing on complaints from the customer(s).

You bring with you

  • extensive experience in a customer service environment, within logistics is a plus; 
  • great customer focus and commitment; 
  • knowledge of Excel, MS Office and warehouse management system;
  • good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
