Move forward as Freight Forwarder at DSV in Schiphol

Responsible for the export air freight shipments of one large multinational. Together with your colleagues, you search for logistics solutions with the right KPIs for that key account in a targeted and dedicated way. That's what you do!

You get it done

Your contacts are in daily contact with a large international key account. For example, to transport spare parts to the final destination as quickly as possible and within the agreements made. Provide the customer with updates and hold periodic calls together with your colleagues. And ensure that DSV's services continue to grow with the customer and are expanded. You participate in it.

How do you do this? By working very closely as a freight forwarder export key accounts with the contact persons at the key account, airlines and agents. You are looking for the right transport solution for your customers' export shipments in a customer-oriented way. You use your knowledge, network and enthusiasm to book air freight with the airlines. As a freight forwarder, you take care of the customer together with your colleagues. You achieve this by: 

• processing orders in Cargowise and converting them into export shipments; 
• timely booking of export shipments with airlines and carriers;
• providing the customer with updates and KPIs, by telephone and email, about current shipments;
• monitoring shipments and ensuring that shipments run smoothly;
• fulfilling agreements with your customer and periodically provide them with the achieved KPIs.

You bring

• hbo work and thinking level; 
• at least one year of working experience in freight forwarding, logistics, air cargo or in a trade environment;
• a good knowledge of the Dutch and English language to be able to speak or e-mail with the customer.
