Move forward as Supervisor Customer Service at DSV in Tholen

Would you like to lead a team responsible for well-known brands operating in the Dutch and European markets? Your experience as a supervisor within customer service will come into its own at one of the top players in the logistics market.

Responsible for the operational management of our customer service team: you work on it. 

How will you do this? You ensure that the team is optimally deployed and managed. Your focus will be on achieving maximum customer satisfaction and serving our customers based on the agreed conditions. You get energy from working on efficiency and improvement. You coordinate the work within the customer service team for a number of our customers. You achieve this by: 

  • properly organising your department according to logistical and customer developments; 
  • monitoring the progress of the various logistics processes, intervening in the event of disruptions and informing customers and carriers in the event of expected delays and changes; 
  • holding operational / tactical consultations with the customer on performance and daily operations;
  • obtaining / collecting, analysing, reporting and providing information with regard to the status / progress based on production KPIs to customer(s), among others; 
  • proactively coaching, supporting and developing your team.

Your team stands out within DSV for the conviviality and approachability with which we interact. It is a close-knit team that helps each other where necessary! The team consists of 12 customer service employees and a senior customer service employee who reports directly to you. You get all the freedom and space you need to fulfil this role in the best possible way.

You bring

  • at least 1 year of experience in similar position; 
  • affinity with logistics and transport; 
  • good computer skills; 
  • command of the Dutch and English languages.
