Move forward as Claims Handler at DSV in Venlo

Are you ready to make a difference at a global logistics company? As a claims handler, you’ll ensure the efficient handling of transport claims while actively contributing to process improvements. Join our dynamic team and grow with one of the market leaders!

You get it done

As a claims handler at DSV, you play a crucial role in continuously improving our processes. You will work closely with carriers and internal departments to ensure that claims, particularly those related to parcel shipments, are handled efficiently and accurately. This role not only gives you the opportunity to manage the financial aspects of claims but also to contribute to quality improvements and customer satisfaction. You make it happen.

How do you do this? You are responsible for processing and following up on claims arising from transport shipments. Your tasks include assessing submitted claims based on CMR and AVC conditions, conducting investigations, and determining whether a claim is accepted. Additionally, you’ll work on improvements by analysing frequently occurring issues. You’ll achieve this by:

  • proactively maintaining contact with the business, carriers, and operational departments to ensure a swift turnaround of claims;
  • processing recaps, where customers log their transport issues, such as missing or damaged shipments;
  • collaborating with our carriers to handle claims quickly and effectively;
  • supporting the department with operational tasks, such as following up on shipments.
