At our control tower, we work with verticals. These verticals are specific product groups such as tech, fashion or chemicals. Shipments for our clients are managed through the DSV cross-docks in Sevenum and Dordrecht. Together with your colleagues in Dordrecht, you ensure a smooth customer implementation and continue to develop client relationships. You are on it!

How you do this? By first gaining experience across various transport departments within DSV. This will not only help you get to know your colleagues, but also familiarize you with DSV’s operational processes. This knowledge will be necessary as you take on the role of control tower specialist, enabling you to perform independently and confidently. You will become the crucial link between our clients and colleagues, as well as the go-to person for any issues. When delays or challenges arise, you collaborate with your team and the client to find optimal solutions. You achieve this by:

• maintaining close contact with clients and internal departments, including planning, sales and cross-dock teams;
• handling complaints and claims, creating reports in Excel and managing the associated logistics administration within our system (Cargolink);
• proactively identifying process discrepancies, analyzing bottlenecks and ensuring effective solutions;
• expanding customer relationships further and spotting business opportunities.

• at least some knowledge of the transport and logistics sector, with a few years of experience in the field;

• strong social skills, a good sense of humor and contacting clients, colleagues by phone excites you.
