How you do this? As a QHSE supervisor, you will work to uphold the highest QHSE standards within our cluster of locations in Venray, Haps, and ’s-Heerenberg. You will play a key role in implementing QHSE strategies, ensuring that the sites comply with essential standards such as ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000. You will monitor compliance with these standards and carry out detailed risk assessments and internal audits.

In addition, you will be responsible for developing improvement plans and advising managers on how to continually improve quality, safety, and environmental practices. Collaborating with the national QHSE team, you will help shape central QHSE policies while working with your QA Specialist and H&S Specialist to improve the management system. Hands-on, you’ll raise quality and safety awareness within your team, ensuring all employees are aware of risks and best practices. Through your guidance and expertise, you will continuously elevate the working environment, ensuring DSV consistently meets the highest quality and safety standards. You achieve this by:

• implementing national procedures and best practices across local sites;
• conducting internal audits, assessments, and risk inventories;
• drafting improvement plans and advising managers while actively discussing potential improvements;
• keeping procedures, instructions, and other relevant documents up to date and well-maintained;
• leading, coaching, and guiding your specialists.

You bring

• higher vocational education level (HBO), preferably with a specialisation in safety management;
• relevant work experience with a clear affinity for Health & Safety in a logistics or process organisation;
• proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
• knowledge of labour and environmental management, or a willingness to further develop in these areas.
