DSV Solutions is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Business Controlling Specialist in Kemps Creek, Sydney.

 

This role is responsible to set and maintain standards for invoicing, cost control, reporting and continuous improvement of all back-office functions.

 

Your typical day at DSV:

 

•    Propose and implement improvements to optimize performance, streamline processes, and ensure a more reliable and precise workflow
•    Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and provide results back to management
•    Develop and implement risk assessment strategies to identify and mitigate potential business risks
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement streamlined processes that enhance operational & financial effectiveness
•    Evaluate existing tools to identify opportunities for enhancement, aiming to minimize human error, elevate accuracy, and improve overall efficiency 
•    Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders
•    Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, controls, and key business activities
•    Prepare and present detailed reports to internal stakeholders as needed

 

About You:

 

•    Bachelor's degree in business management, process control management, or similar.
•    Experience in similar role and in-depth knowledge of relevant industry processes
•    Ability to identify cost-saving measures and improvement strategies.
•    Proficient in analyzing and interpreting Profit and Loss statements to assess financial performance
•    Knowledge of CargoWise One and SAP S/4 HANA is advantageous
•    Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
•    Ability to coordinate projects and lead multiple teams
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
•    Report and procedure writing skills
•    Available to work after hours and weekends when required
