Business Support Application Engineer (Warehousing)

About the role

As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for performing WMS integrations and applications. You will work closely with colleagues in the Business Support Team and be the second line help desk for operations. You will analyse the coherence between the business processes, user organisation & operational software.

Other tasks

• Design and test (pre)-production environments for our different applications;
• Contribute to a planned project execution by phasing, budgeting and planning work and reporting on progress;
• Support our local team in setting up reports, analysing data and continuously looking for improvements;
• Support in for keeping the procedures and work instructions up to date;
• Manning the second line helpdesk.  When necessary, escalate to DSV Global IT or the package supplier’s helpdesk or other internal resolver;
• Provide on-site support & support key-users within the operation.

Are you the perfect fit?

• Bachelor in logistics or IT;
• First experience in Business Support (~Applications, process engineering,…);
• You are communicative & have a strong knowledge of Dutch and English
• You have knowledge of WMS systems and IT/EDI standards are a plus;
• Strong analytical & communicative skills.
