Do you want to play an important role in the shaping of the DSV European groupage network?

Seize this opportunity to make a significant impact on how we approach groupage production in DSV as you help us implement our new strategy to enhance quality, standardise production, and improve productivity.

“It's a great opportunity for professional development. We don't expect perfection; instead, we'll train you and equip you properly, so you'll be confident in this new role,” says Director, Operations Kristoffer Riisager.

Join the DSV Road DENO Europe team

As part of the DENO Europe team within DSV Road, you will be based at one of our main logistic centres in Europe. Here, you will be employed locally, acting as the extended arm of our HQ in Denmark as you work to implement our 2027 European Groupage Network strategy.

Doing so, you will be working closely with the country manager, the local colleagues, the European Groupage Network team as well as other colleagues from HQ.

“We’re on a journey towards becoming a unified high-performing network across Europe. You and the other DENOs will play a big part in this transformation,” Kristoffer continues

Develop and standardise our European Groupage network production

As the local DENO, your main objective will be to ensure the implementation and execution of our new strategy. Doing so, you will manage and optimise company network operations for efficient transportation and logistics services.

You will be the first point of contact during the implementation, and you will actively champion the introduction of new initiatives and advancements in operations, providing steadfast support and guidance throughout.

More specifically, your main tasks will be to:

  • Utilise KPIs and performance metrics for ongoing analysis, enabling data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of network operations
  • Develop and implement SOPs for consistency and compliance with company policies
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to the DENO team for effective performance
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance overall supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction

You have solid groupage network experience

This role demands a balance between your team player mentality and the ability to set a clear direction and give pushback. Making good use of your solid communication and stakeholder management skills, you know how to create buy-in across the board.

Likewise, your aptitude for problem-solving ensures that you navigate with ease when faced with the exceptions or disruptions of transportation operations.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in the transport and logistics industry and in-depth knowledge of European system transport networks and processes
  • Know your way around TMS, driver scanners, master data, routing etc.
  • Have experience developing and implementing transport strategies and process optimisation
  • Understand regulatory requirements and quality standards in transport, terminal and/or distribution
  • Have knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the ability to analyse and improve transport network performance
  • Speak and write English effortlessly
