Are you a master in groupage with a capability in problem-solving?

Join us in revolutionizing groupage production in DSV by implementing our new strategy to enhance quality, standardize production, and improve productivity. As the local DSV Expert Network Operator (DENO), your main objective will be to ensure our strategy’s implementation and execution on-site, managing and optimizing network operations for efficient transportation and logistics services across various branches, both locally and cross-border. You will serve as the primary contact during implementations, leading new initiatives, and operational improvements, while offering consistent support and guidance along the way.

“We don’t expect perfection; instead, we’ll train you and equip you properly, so you’ll be confident in this new role as what we call DENO. We are on a journey towards becoming a unified High-Performing network across Europe. You and the other DENO’s will play a big part in this transformation.” says Director Kristoffer Riisager.

You´ve read this far, and feel ready to step into the role as a DSV Expert Network Operator because:

You thrive in large scale business organisation with a fuzz of many agendas moving simultaneously and a broad stakeholder landscape. You love that this role keeps you on the move, taking you to new places about 50 days a year—just enough to fuel your wanderlust while keeping things exciting! You are confident in taking a lead position within your area of expertise in groupage and know how to put your knowledge into valuable collaborative play in a transformation with many change initiatives, cross-dependencies, and a broad stakeholder landscape. You ARE a team-player - sounds as a cliché, but here it is not! We back each other up and succeed as a team.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Bring extensive experience in groupage logistics with a deep understanding of European system transport networks and processes.
  • Are well-versed in transport management systems, driver scanners, master data, routing, and related tools.
  • Have a background in developing and executing transport strategies and optimizing processes.
  • Are knowledgeable about regulatory requirements and quality standards in transport, terminal, and/or distribution.
  • Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and excel at analyzing and enhancing transport network performance.
  • Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate smooth network operations.
  • Create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures to maintain consistency and align with company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits within your region to identify improvement opportunities and take corrective actions.
  • Offer guidance, training, and support to local teams to enhance performance.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and boosting customer satisfaction.

This role calls for a team-oriented mindset paired with strong leadership skills to establish clear direction and deliver constructive feedback. Your communication and problem-solving skills will be key in navigating challenges within transportation operations. You will collaborate closely with the country manager, local colleagues, the European Groupage Network team, and other team members at Headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark.
