Time Type: Full Time

Would you like to take on an integral role in our Global IT finance function, shaping the financial landscape and steering our global operations to new heights?

As you join the largest IT department in Denmark with 2500 new colleagues, you will facilitate the financial memory card of our growth history. And you will not just gain a job. You will gain a career path.

“At DSV, mergers and acquisitions bring constant growth and development. It gives you exposure to new tasks and situations and allows you to truly develop within your field of expertise,” says Senior Director, Corporate Accounting & Finance, Haydar Ucar.

Welcome to Corporate Accounting & Finance

Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Accounting & Finance, and based in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will become an integral part of our diverse Corporate Accounting & Finance leadership team and the wider Group Finance management community.

Moreover, you will head up a team of finance business partners and controllers in Denmark, Poland and the Philippines, who are responsible for our IT controlling globally, and work closely with our business partners in Global IT.

“We already have some good processes running and a team of skilled colleagues. They’re looking for a coach who can set the direction and work with them to maintain a high level of excellence,” explains Haydar.

Provide invaluable financial insights and guidance

You will find yourself in the centre of our ever-expanding Global IT. Leading the finance function, you will shape the financial landscape, optimise operations, and provide invaluable financial insights to improve excellence in our Global IT division.

This also entails working closely with the Global IT management team as well as streamlining processes, optimising operations, and enhancing our risk and governance strategies.

Specifically, you will:

  • Ensure smooth administration and reporting of financials
  • Handle key stakeholders within the Global IT organisation, including the Group CIO
  • Ensure the professional development and performance of your team, fostering continuous growth in competencies
  • Ensure that cost controlling is done in accordance with DSV policies
  • Participate in Group-initiated projects to ensure that financial and administrative angles are comprehensively covered

”DSV’s growth and our work with digitalisation call for scalable processes. Being on top of our processes allows us to manoeuvre better through our mergers and acquisitions,” explains Haydar.

Management experience and an interest in IT infrastructure

We are looking for a colleague who believes that attention to detail and a healthy dose of curiosity will create value. You also find it exciting to work in an environment where mergers and acquisitions bring change and development opportunities, and you do not mind handling new situations as we grow.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Bring a wealth of hands-on controlling and accounting experience
  • Have an interest in IT infrastructure and an understanding of IT controlling as a discipline
  • Have years of experience in people management, or have the skills and desire to develop into a great manager
  • Are fluent in Danish and English
  • Are well-versed in IT with exceptional MS Excel skills; familiarity with SAP is an advantage
