Job Req Number: 71099
Time Type: Full Time
Do you want to be part of shaping the future of a Fortune 500 company as a senior advisor on business architecture and best practice to DSV executive management?
We will empower you to enable, facilitate, and implement business architecture across our entire organisation – from Group to frontline levels across more than 80 countries.
“We’re accelerating our transformation and enhancing our strategic capabilities. Your role will be central to our digital transformation on a global scale as you’ll influence the way we operate, the tools we apply as well as our strategic roadmap,” says Director, Group Business Architecture & Change Management, Mikkel Gardersøe.
Welcome to Group Business Architecture & Change
In our transformation function in Hedehusene, you will be part of our new Group Business Architecture & Change department. We are currently 3 colleagues – and scaling up – responsible for creating the business architecture, framework, and standards of our digital journey. Our business architecture is absolutely essential in taking DSV to the next level digitally as we break down the strategy into the needed business capabilities.
”In the team, we’re feeling excited about creating this whole new approach. An important part for us is also to communicate the needed change and the value it will bring to our digital transformation to the organisation,” explains Mikkel.
Design, enable, and facilitate our digital transformation
You will be the driver in creating our business architecture framework and partially own the process of creating our capability modelling. This makes you the important link between our digital strategy and IT development.
All our programmes and projects are international, and you will work with stakeholders from top executives to operations in our DSV divisions to explain the concept of business architecture and why it is essential to our digitalisation. Specifically, you will:
- Collect, correct, and connect the dots between DSV Group and our DSV divisions through capability mapping
- Take part in designing new and/or updating existing business architecture frameworks
- Facilitate business architecture workshops, implementing new ways of working and strategic digitalisation roadmaps
- Take part in creating transparency and benefit realisation through a “desired outcome” mindset
- Enable collaboration between our department, the transformation function overall as well as stakeholders across DSV business divisions, IT, Finance, and DSV Executive Management
“This job is about translating an academic discipline into an operational approach, which is characteristic of DSV as an organisation. You’ll achieve your goals when you can turn ideas into value-creating actions,” says Mikkel.
Experienced business architect with solid stakeholder management skills
You can translate complex information for all stakeholders and understand how to break it down into easily understood analogies. You can stand your ground when challenged, as you know how to navigate at both top management and specialist levels. Equally important, you can create structure and balance urgent tasks with long-term projects, and your collaboration skills are on point. Finally, we imagine that you:
- Are an experienced business architect with a proven ability to drive digital transformations in large-scale organisations
- Have a good business architecture toolbox built on a business background and best-practise understanding
- Have experience with digitalisation programmes
- Are fluent in English and have good communication skills
- May have experience with transport and logistics and/or connecting business architecture to change management, but this is not a prerequisite
Want to know more and apply?
We will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the position and about your options in DSV. You are welcome to call Mikkel Gardersøe, Director, Group Business Architecture & Change Management, on +45 25 45 24 21.
