Welcome to our global Project Management Office

In the DSV Group Project Management Office (PMO), you will be a part of a group of 80+ highly professional colleagues. Our mission is to provide high-quality services and handle projects for the DSV organisation, supporting business and group functions in executing global strategies. 

 

A global company – with amazing HQ facilities in Hedehusene. With 40 of your colleagues, you will have access to a wealth of knowledge and work closely with our PMO management team as well as senior stakeholders from e.g., Business Divisions, Business Change Management, IT and Finance.

You will be responsible for handling complex projects with the growth opportunity into programmes which are linked directly to the DSV strategy. The initial project assignments will mainly revolve around our Enterprise Integrations organization with the objective of implementing and evolving Integration Platform Services. You will be positioned in our IT / Technical project team. 

 

Lead complex projects linked to our strategy!

In DSV we continue to grow in all aspects of the organisation. This means that you will be responsible for running enterprise-level projects, which are directly linked to the DSV strategy. The projects will mainly revolve around our Enterprise Integrations Organization and may consist of multiple teams/workstreams and require integration and interdependency with other activities outside the project scope. 

 

With the ability to run 2-3 medium size projects at a time or large-scale projects/programmes, you will have close cooperation with the IT/PMO Cluster Lead and stakeholders, which include both team members in the project, DSV Group Business and IT, cross functional departments within the group as well as senior and executive management. Specifically, you will:

  • Utilize project governance according to our PMO framework. 
  • Ability to work with Business and IT to ensure continued collaboration, which a good understanding of process to assist in navigating good structure within the project. 
  • Ability to work with third party and/or customers representatives in technical end-point changes. 
  • Handle the development process across all project stages – from initial business case initiation up to an operational implementation of changes – together with the DSV Enterprise Integration organization.
  • Handle budgets and ensure close control of project spend across multiple teams. 
  • Ensure that we tend to the project backlog and future in-take approvals effectively and that they are aligned across our stakeholder community
  • Translate complex statuses to comprehensive, fact-based reports, which you deliver to senior management, providing project updates and insights on a bi-weekly basis 

 

Solid IT Integration experience as Senior Specialist, Leader or Project Manager.

This role requires good interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships. You know how to maneuver across the organisation, and while you use your coaching skills in your interactions, you also know how to stand your ground when others challenge you. Finally, you:

  • Have years of IT Integration experience with large corporate projects. 
  • Preferably, some years of experience running large projects, with a good understanding of IT Project Management, with the ability to navigate between both the Business and IT. 
  • Understand project management models i.e. Prince2 and/or agile frameworks such as SAFe – a certification is an advantage
  • Are fluent in English (Oral Danish is an advantage)
  • Are already based around Hedehusene in Denmark
