In this role, you will be part of standardising and digitising our product architecture to offer the right product and value proposition to our customers and enable customer satisfaction.

Join our brand-new Product Excellence team
In Group Business Change Management, our team Product Excellence has just come into being. In time, we will be 4 colleagues in total aiming to standardise and digitise the customer-facing offerings that exist in the DSV Products & Services Catalogue today.
The roles in the team will be closely interlinked, and we will also work with various divisions within DSV as we shape the catalogue.
“Because we’re a new function in DSV, we’ll be pioneering Product Excellence as a discipline. People will look to us for direction, to learn, adapt and execute our standards and designs within their own domain,” says Akshay.
Design products for customer satisfaction and company growth
You will enter this role with a great starting point, as DSV is already delivering solid results and serving happy customers. Where you can make a difference is in navigating our varied data sources and systems from across the company. Your aim will be to assess the DSV product landscape and decide which components or services need to be standardised in order to bring the right product and value proposition to our customers.
Ultimately designing products for the catalogue, you will document and deliver the architecture and governance that we will lean on to bring standardised products to the catalogue. That entails:
- Building a product architecture framework that can scale across DSV’s business divisions
- Building ‘Definitions of Ready’ & ‘Definitions of Done’ as part of enabling standardised products
- Building, aligning and executing on road maps for the different products
“And you’ll be practicing your discipline across many different products, connecting the dots from different systems, services and processes,” explains Akshay.
Experience with product architecture, management or design
In this role, your ability to connect various systems will be key, allowing you to bring components together to deliver a product that can be executed on. And as your work is closely linked to the work of your team colleagues as well as internal system users in DSV, collaboration skills will be essential.
Finally, we imagine that you:
- Have experience in building, designing and implementing the foundations for standardised products with a focus on delivering customer value
- Have experience with bringing product design and architecture elements into simplifying a complex product landscape
- Are comfortable working with stakeholders at C-level positions across internal divisions
- Are fluent in English
