In your role as an Operator in our Road Department , in our Athens/Argyroupoli office, you will work with companies, importers and exporters to make sure goods are transported in the safest, most efficient and cost-effective way.

You will be the point of reference for all queries, requests or issues and obviously, you will be an integral part of DSV’s workforce!

Responsibilities of the Role

• Allocating and recording Loading lists in the system
• Issue of CMR docs (export dept)
• Delivery program to the hauliers
• Sending lists and program of loading/offloading to the warehouse
• Liaising with customers (email -phone) and booking in deliveries / pick ups 
• Sending delivery/loading  instructions to the warehouse
• Report offloading to the agents
• Issue of invoices (agents & clients)
• Control and book in Customs Partner invoice
• Control of carriers & agent’s invoices (request of credits if necessary)
• Checking and closed jobs when all accruals have been booked
• Communicate across DSV agents to run daily operation

       Requirements

• High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Integrity and professionalism
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook/Excel)
• Business English (written/spoken)
• Degree in Logistics or relevant field is nice to have
• Work experience at least 1 to 2 years, as an Operator in Freight Forwarding will be considered as a plus.
