As an Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Administration of tasks related DSV global insurance programs. Development of current DSV insurance (non-Cargo/FFL) setup to streamline and optimize the service provided to customers. Timely and proper reporting to superior/s. Professional service provided to internal and external DSV Clients. Following the department and team strategy, manuals and procedures.

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Collecting, verifying, and amending the data necessary for corporate insurance programs maintenance, renewals and terminations.
  • Providing information to relevant internal parties about corporate insurance programs – premiums, coverages, deductibles, claim etc.
  • Reviewing local policies in accordance with DSV Insurance setup and ensuring their timely payment.
  • Maintaining business cooperation with DSV partners (insurance companies/brokers/advisors/TPAs).
  • Understanding business risk and ensuring full and continues insurance coverage for DSV.
  • Arranging analyses of corporate insurance program setups for internal use.
  • Providing approvals, comments, and recommendations to contractual insurance requirements
  • Conducting and supervising property surveys in cooperation with DSV Insurance reinsurers.
  • Defining risk management/insurance standards in cooperation with DSV managers and ensuring their understanding within company.
  • Reviewing requests based on corporate insurance policies, loss record and risk involved.

 

Education and skills:

  • Accuracy, ability to proritize tasks and working under time pressure
  • Pro-active mindset and good communication skills
  • Availability in regard of travels abroad
  •  Preferable specialization: TSL/ Insurance/ Law

 

 

Minimal work experience:

  • At least one- year proven experience in customer service/insurance/underwriting or similar position
  • Experience in working with multinational team
  • Knowledge in regard of property and casualty insurances
  • Computer skills incl. Ms Office

 

Languages:

  • English upper-intermediate (B2)
