Product Owner to join our digital transformation journey

Be part of creating the next generation of digital products at DSV

In our department Digital Enterprise Transformation, we have an open sport for an experienced Product Owner to help us deliver real value in close collaboration with business and IT.

You will play your part in the development of secure, scalable, and high-quality products with innate fault tolerance, as you oversee the vision and roadmap for one of our products called the Supply Chain Event Hub. It is a service that provides our customers with the best possible impression of a shipment’s events across and enables us better control and reporting of our supply chain.


Some of the assignments you can look forward to as part of the team will be:

Grooming and prioritising the product backlog in close collaboration with business and business change management stakeholders

Facilitation of the agile development process and ceremonies together with the team

Communications management towards and from the development team

Ensuring that the product delivers the expected value to the business

Collaboration with relevant stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements

Ensuring progress on the product development through its full lifecycle

Reporting on updates to stakeholders and the product team

Managing and planning the needed test activities to improve the quality and security of the solution and to ensure that we are ready for rolling out on time

Taking part in the support chain and incident handling process to ensure continuous availability for our customers.

We are looking for an excellent communicator who can proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner, who is skilled in communicating effectively verbally, graphically and in writing, and can proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships.

You are a team player and know how to effectively influence technical teams.

Your educational background is within a technical field, and preferably you have several years of experience with product development.



    The ideal candidate should: 


    • Act accordingly under pressure and know how to handle crisis situations effectively

    • Evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience and common sense

    • Develop, improve and/or streamline processes to meet established goals and objectives

    • Demonstrate expertise in delivering to a strategic agenda

    • Pay attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity of data.



    Join an agile department with a start-up mindset

    Digital Enterprise Transformation is an agile department responsible for developing and operating modern products, in line with DSV’s digital strategy. Our purpose is to generate direct business value for DSV’s business divisions by building advanced end-to-end products.

    Your new unit is characterised by having a start-up mindset, and it is divided into cross-functional product teams with a mix of colleagues early in their career and highly experienced. We strive to base our work on knowledge and insight rather than hierarchical structures, and we make sure that our decisions are based on conversations between people with different competencies rather than one individual.

    Digital Enterprise Transformation is responsible for developing the future digital products of DSV. You will refer to Senior Director, Enterprise Integrations & Master Data Management, Nicolai Stumpe and own the product called Supply Chain Event Hub focusing on providing the best possible impression of a shipment’s evets, based on use-case specific profiles.  The service offers visibility of events across TMSs avoiding duplication and wrong events.

    You will work closely with other product owners, developers, data scientists, ML engineers, DevOps engineers, and business experts located all over the world, to create the digital experiences of tomorrow in DSV.
