As part of the Air & Sea Digital product team at DSV you will be a part of the IT unit driving innovation and building the future digital landscape which will move Air & Sea DSV business forward into the high-tech world of transport, logistics and e-commerce.

You are the key player in the development team will be solving most exciting and challenging technical problems. You work closely with product owner and your team members implementing testing and operating business products in cohesive Agile environment with DevOps philosophy, where team maintain full responsibility and ownership on the product. Demanding performance requirements and high load is another dimension, that make this job interesting for people with problem solving mindset. You will be building highly scalable products with the focus on current production performance and future grows of the business. We need a Software engineer who is used to thinking outside the box delivering where others are failing.

Your main tasks will be:

• Development of web-based applications, Java 1.11 backends (spring and spring-boot framework) adhering to microservices architecture principles, JavaScript/React frontends. Web REST APIs, and Kafka based events streaming.
• Implementation of the automated tests and testing the solution adopting TDD approach.
• Support of live products owned by the team in accordance with DevOps practices
• Providing good level of documentation for implemented solution.
• Bringing your knowhow and best practices in development contributing to a continues improvements process. 

Utilize the following technologies and frameworks (among others) to get the job done:

• Typescript
• Java 11
• React / Angular
• Kafka
• PostgreSQL
• MongoDB
• ELK Stack

Our Requirements: 

• 3+ years of relevant commercial experience developing enterprise grade products. From which 1+ as a Senior Software Developer
• 1+ years of experience working with our core tech stack:Typescript, Java 11, React / Angular, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ELK Stack
• Good level of expertise building highly loaded enterprise grade solutions
• Experience working with the Atlassian Stack (Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket)
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines/Azure Repos (git))
• Experience with container development (Docker/K8s/AKS)
• Passion for software development using DevOps/LEAN principles
• Strong technical ownership of products and services being developed
• Ability to challenge the status quo and thrive in an environment where you are encouraged daily to think outside the box
• Flexibility and willingness to work with all levels of the web development technology stack
• Openness, being a team player, logical thinking and striving to continuously learn and experiment is a must
• Knowledge and experience building modern, containerized, and scalable applications for Azure (ARM) and OpenStack is a plus
