As a Business Manager within our dynamic logistics joint venture company involved in KSA’s NEOM project, you will play a crucial role in supporting Executive Directors and senior management functions across various project sites. You will be responsible for high-level administrative tasks, decision-making processes, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in English and possess a background in business administration or a similar field to ensure a thorough understanding of business operations and management and have a thorough of logistics and freight forwarding.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support business planning through data analysis and decision making
  • Collect and update project master time sheets on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain records of changes in project POs and understand gaps in manpower deployment.
  • Maintain project procurement status reports and liaise with projects to prepare and update project pipeline.
  • Maintain a PO tracker for project shipments in conjunction with DSV business divisions.
  • Monitor and summarize emails, highlighting missed or critical points.
  • Control the calendar, organize travel, and manage travel logistics to project sites on a weekly basis.
  • Project manage initiatives launched by the Projects team periodically.
  • Prepare for major meetings and allocate work on behalf of senior management.
  • Take notes during meetings, create action items, allocate tasks, and follow up on completion

 

Educational Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Business Manager, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
  • Thorough understanding and experience of logistics and freight forwarding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
