Role

As Supervisor, Facility Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of the facilities and infrastructure in the Project area within NEOM.

This role is integral in ensuring that all building systems and facilities operate smoothly, are safe, and meet the high standards of service required for a global project.

The Supervisor will manage the facilities team, collaborate with external contractors, and ensure the sustainable, eco-friendly operation of all facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations and maintenance of project facilities, including resorts, public spaces, sports venues, and associated infrastructure.
  • Oversee the maintenance and functionality of all essential building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.) and ensure they are operating at peak efficiency.
  • Implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of assets and systems.
  • Ensure that all facilities are clean, secure, and well-maintained, with regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the facilities team, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely, professional, and safe manner.
  • Manage external vendors and contractors, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure all facilities are compliant with local regulations, environmental standards, and NEOM’s health and safety protocols.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for any facility-related issues or concerns from tenants, residents, or external stakeholders.
  • Drive sustainable practices across facility management operations, with a focus on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and water conservation.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and innovations in facilities management that can enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  • Implement smart building technologies and sustainability initiatives in line with NEOM’s vision for a futuristic, eco-friendly city.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications in facility management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) are a plus.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Previous experience managing large-scale, high-end or resort-style facilities, including maintenance of infrastructure and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
  • Experience working within a high-profile project or luxury hospitality environment (such as resorts, sports venues, or entertainment complexes) is highly preferred.
