The HR Specialist, Recruiter provides daily support in the areas of recruiting, onboarding and administration relative to the hiring and retention of non-exempt roles in the assigned coverage area. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Coordinates and/or conducts full cycle recruiting and hiring processes for hourly associates. Partners with the Operations team and site HR to maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.  

  • Coordinates interview scheduling and may conduct interviews for open hourly roles.  May make recommendations for hires, ensuring proper ongoing file maintenance and the disposition of all applicants.  

  • Coordinates and facilitates the new hire orientation process, including scheduling the orientation, ensuring accurate new hire paperwork completion, and creating the employee file.  

  • Supports the overall recruitment strategy in collaboration with site HR, including coordinating / participating in recruiting events such as job fairs and outreach events to source candidates.  

  • Provides routine recruiting reporting and under the guidance of HR management or HR business partners. This includes participation in all government-sponsored tax credit programs.  

  • Conducts initial phone screens to create a shortlist of qualified candidates for each role. 

  • Tracks hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire. 

  • Follows up with candidates throughout the hiring process. 

  • Maintains a database of potential candidates for future job openings 

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES  

Education & Experience:   

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related field and 2 years’ experience working in Human Resource field required or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred 

  • 2-years experience recruiting for non-exempt roles in full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience recruiting in relevant industry environment 

  • Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate 

 

Computer Skills 

  • Microsoft Office 

  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably SAP Success Factors 

Language Skills 

  • Local language required
