VanMoof expands E-commerce together with DSV Multi-Channel Fulfilment

VanMoof's e-bikes are sold from physical stores in Amsterdam, Tokyo and New York, among others. In addition, the many cyclists around the world are served through online sales. For the processing of these online orders, VanMoof has entered into a partnership with DSV Multi-Channel Fulfillment (DSV MCF).

Next billion on bikes

“To realize VanMoof's mission of getting the next billion riders on bicycles, we chose to partner with DSV MCF, given their strong experience in e-commerce fulfillment and their wide international network. Together we will scale up our European fulfillment activities, whereby the customer experience is of course central. Time to deliver the future together!”

says Mats Meijer, EU Fulfillment Lead at VanMoof.

Major expansion in capacity

“We are proud that VanMoof has opted for our know-how and process design,” says Erik Biemans, Customer Relations Manager at DSV MCF. “The implementation is already in full swing and the first models are expected to leave our warehouse this year. The growth potential is enormous, and we are eager to further support VanMoof in this.” His colleague Ton Blom, director DSV MCF, adds: “The storage of thousands of bicycles is no problem at DSV. We take care of the work from one of our DSV warehouses in Moerdijk. Due to the constant growth, a further expansion of DSV MCF's space was already planned anyway. At the end of 2020, we will have access to approximately 25,000 m2 in phases."
