DSV expands presence in Eindhoven region

Early December, the Air & Sea division of DSV will relocate to a new logistics centre at the Kempisch Bedrijvenpark in Hapert – a strategic logistics hotspot in the Brainport region with direct access to the A67 motorway. The move will consolidate the two existing sites in Eindhoven, totalling 15,000 m², into one modern facility spanning 25,600 m².

At the new site, DSV will carry out logistics operations specifically tailored to clients in the technology and automotive sectors, with a strong focus on air freight. The warehouse will serve as a consolidation centre for air freight via nearby regional airports.

This new location enables us to serve our high-tech and automotive clients even better. The combination of strategic location and modern facilities aligns with our long-term vision: to grow alongside our customers in a future-proof and efficient logistics environment,

says Juliën de Jong, Managing Director.

The branch will serve the rapidly growing Euregion, which covers western Germany, northern Belgium, and the southern Netherlands. The building has been constructed according to the latest sustainability standards, meets TAPA-A security requirements, and features two advanced roller conveyors for handling air freight pallets and containers. Solar panels have been installed, with further expansion planned, and two fully electric trucks will be used for distribution. Approximately 130 employees will operate from the new facility.

Our facilities are designed with the customer in mind. The advanced roller conveyors ensure fast and secure air freight handling, while the location and our focus on sustainability contribute to a future-proof supply chain,

says Gijs Peeters, Air Freight Director.

The building was developed by VDG Real Estate. On behalf of VDG, Madeleine van den Eijnde-Van Dijk, Director, states:

We are very proud to have supported DSV in expanding their air freight facility. The building is not only functional and built to the latest standards, but also designed to grow in line with DSV’s ambitions.
