Move forward as Administrative Specialist at DSV in Venlo

You get it done

You'll be supporting our Global Business Change Management Solutions team. In addition to secretarial tasks, you'll be responsible for timekeeping, checking, and approving hours. With your eye for detail, you'll spot any discrepancies in timekeeping and prepare reports for the management team: you work on it.
How do you do this? You ensure accurate handling of expense claims and credit card statements. You keep various overviews up to date. In short, you perform various tasks to ensure our colleagues can function optimally. You achieve this by: 

  • providing support in HR areas such as registering sick leave and recovery notifications, approving leave requests, and handling matters related to employment. Additionally, you arrange birthday gifts, manage workwear distribution, and timekeeping;
  • supporting on facility-related matters by booking business trips, ordering office supplies, and managing hardware;
  • organizing events such as staff outings, meetings, and conferences.

Your team stands out at DSV due to its international character. You'll be working for a global department within DSV, meaning your colleagues regularly work around the world. You'll build a network, both locally and internationally, providing your colleagues with the right support.

You bring

  • an education in management assistance, administrative work, or similar is a plus, but passion for the job is far more important to us;
  • excellent command of both Dutch and English languages;
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
