Are you detail-oriented, analytical and confident handling claims from A to Z? As a claims specialist, you ensure a smooth and correct settlement of claims and contribute to continuous process improvement. You make a difference within one of the world’s largest logistics providers!

Within our freight and distribution management team, you take ownership of damage claims and ensure every detail is handled with care and precision: you’re on it.
How you do this? You are the first point of contact for incidents, liaise with carriers and third parties, and manage the full administrative process. You achieve this by:
- registering and following up on damage claims;
- coordinating the entire claim process, from notification to resolution;
- verifying documentation and evidence;
- communicating with customers, carriers and internal departments;
- ensuring compliance with transport regulations such as CMR and AVC;
- reporting trends and identifying structural issues.
Your team stands out within DSV you are part of our Freight and Distribution Management team, a key link between our customers and operational departments. You work closely with colleagues in customer service and operations, ensuring effective and efficient claim handling.

You bring
- mbo+/ hbo level of working and thinking, preferably in logistics, law or administration;
- experience with claim handling in a logistics setting is a plus;
- strong knowledge of transport regulations (CMR, AVC) is a big advantage;
- a precise, independent and analytical mindset;
- excellent communication skills and the ability to manage different stakeholders;
- proficiency in both Dutch and English.
