Are you strong in administration, confident in communication and energised by a dynamic logistics environment? As a driver desk officer at DSV Air & Sea, you are the first point of contact for drivers and colleagues, making sure trucks, documents and systems are all in order before goods move on.

Ensuring all inbound and outbound goods flows run smoothly within our Air & Sea location: you’re on it. 

How you do this? As a driver desk officer, you work at the front desk and deal with drivers, documents, registrations and administrative processing every day. You are in contact with everyone involved in the inbound and outbound flow of goods: from drivers and warehouse colleagues to customer service and other internal departments. You achieve this by:

• coordinating inbound and outbound trucks and welcoming drivers at the desk;
• checking paperwork, registrations and customs documents for import and export shipments;
• communicating with drivers, warehouse colleagues and customer service colleagues via the desk, phone and e-mail;
• processing administrative data in the various DSV systems.

Your team stands out within DSV by its energy, teamwork and sense of responsibility. You will join a team of 7 colleagues, made up of both women and men, where you are never on your own. Even during the evening shift, you always work together with a colleague. When you start, you will be assigned a buddy who will guide you step by step in the role. It takes around 6 months to fully master the position.

You bring

• experience in, or affinity with, an administrative role within a logistics or warehouse environment;
• strong communication skills, enabling you to switch easily between drivers and colleagues;
• confidence in working with systems and the ability to quickly learn new systems;
• good command of English, especially in writing, and willingness to go through VGB screening.
