You get it done

Organizing time critical air freight shipments is one of your key areas of expertise. You understand the importance of timely delivery and are not afraid to act accordingly. This is crucial, as the shipments involve medication, vaccines, or other pharmaceutical products. Every day, you communicate with large international key accounts about orders, which you process into export shipments. You go above and beyond to ensure the shipment reaches its destination as quickly and accurately as possible, according to the client’s requirements. Our key accounts see you as a reassuring partner, knowing that you handle shipments and information flow with precision. Together with your colleagues, you maintain strong client relationships, so that DSV remains top of mind for the next shipment. You're on it.

How you do this? By providing reliable and consistent information to your clients and working closely with airlines, carriers and agencies. You find the best logistical solutions for our clients. You achieve this by:

• processing orders in CargoWise and converting them into export shipments;
• book shipments promptly with (road) carriers, airlines and freight forwarders;
• providing updates to clients on shipment status by phone and email;
• monitoring shipments, ensuring timely delivery and troubleshooting any issues;
• fulfilling commitments made to clients and providing regular KPI reports.

You bring

• at least 3 years of work experience in a role as a freight forwarder, export employee, or air freight operator;
• proven knowledge of pharmaceutical logistics, dangerous goods and customs documentation;
• a good command of both English and Dutch (B1 level, as our SOPs are written in Dutch);
• you have been registered as a resident in The Netherlands for at least 8 years, due to requirements for obtaining a Certificate of No Objection (VGB).
