Move forward as Freight Forwarder Germany at DSV in Venlo
Are you ready to take on a role in a dynamic and close-knit team where no two days are the same? DSV in Venlo is looking for a freight forwarder Germany who thrives on challenges and enjoys working on efficient transport planning and chartering.
You get it done
As a freight forwarder in team Germany, you play a key role in organising and monitoring transport shipments to and from Germany. You are actively involved in the process: you’re on it.
How you do this? Every day, multiple trucks leave Venlo for various locations in Germany. These shipments range from FTL (full truck load) and LTL (less than truck load) to full groupage shipments. Your task is to maximise efficiency by ensuring the trucks are fully loaded on both the outbound and return journeys. You achieve this by:
- planning charters – from 5 pallets to a full truck load (FTL);
- selling and chartering excess freight in the market;
- creating and processing orders efficiently;
- maintaining strong relationships with carriers and customers;
- solving problems quickly – if a truck breaks down, you find the best solution.
Your team stands out within DSV because team Germany is a tight-knit and supportive group where colleagues look out for each other. We consider ourselves a family and always help when needed. Your manager, Tom, leads a team of 10 colleagues and believes in trust over micromanagement. He gives you the space to achieve results in your own way.
