In this department, everything revolves around ensuring the smooth flow of international transports and continuously improving processes. You play an active role in monitoring schedules, solving challenges, and making sure shipments always arrive at the customer on time. You're on it.

How do you do this? As an outbound freight forwarder, you are the link between our warehouse in Venlo, the carriers, and our customers. You coordinate the entire transport process from planning and capacity to export documents and customs formalities, ensuring that shipments reach their destination on time and without errors. At the same time, you proactively keep customers informed about their shipments and liaise with carriers to keep everything running smoothly.

You identify bottlenecks, think ahead, and contribute to improvements that make processes more efficient and reliable. Whether it’s solving unexpected delays, preparing freight documents, or optimizing routes, you keep the overview and ensure everything is in order. You achieve this by:

• coordinating and optimizing the entire outbound process to ensure transports run efficiently and reliably;
• monitoring loading schedules, deadlines, and departure dates, and responding immediately to changes or delays;
• continuously aligning with customers and carriers on planning, documentation, and customs formalities;
• proactively identifying deviations, improving processes, and escalating in time when necessary to prevent issues.

You bring

• experience within the logistics sector, for example in customer service, supply chain management, or transport planning;
• the ability to stay calm and structured, even in busy situations;
• accuracy and attention to detail in your work;
• a proactive mindset, thinking along, suggesting improvements, and daring to come up with creative solutions;
• excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
