Together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure the smooth organisation of all transport operations. You’ll make sure shipments are picked up, dispatched, and delivered on time. Additionally, handling all associated administrative tasks with precision and accuracy: You’re on it.

How you do this? As a freight forwarder, you are responsible for checking and processing new orders in our Transport Management System. You’ll verify all details, follow customer instructions closely, and ensure that all information is correctly entered. You’ll review customs documents and the CMR, then forward the order to one of our carriers. At the same time, you’ll keep your colleagues in the expedition department informed. Simultaneously, you might receive a request from customer service to provide a rate proposal for a return shipment from abroad. Thanks to your efforts, our customers remain satisfied, and everything runs like clockwork! You achieve this by:

• actively following up on and communicating transport status updates with customers, carriers, and internal departments;
• booking the required transport across various modalities;
• preparing overviews and reports.

You bring

• up-to-date knowledge of the international transport market; knowledge of other modalities like sea freight is a plus;
• a high degree of independence, as you’ll be joining an experienced team of freight forwarders;
• proficiency in both Dutch and English.
