As a freight forwarder in Moerdijk, you are the link between customer service, transporters, and customers: you’re on it.

How you do this? You ensure that shipments coming through customer service are efficiently planned and executed. With a sharp eye for detail, you continuously monitor shipment progress and ensure timely and accurate deliveries according to customer expectations. You achieve this by:

• booking shipments via our transport management system with one of our carriers;
• monitoring the status of shipments, promptly identifying delays or disruptions, and proactively informing customers;
• closing shipments upon delivery and ensuring accurate invoicing for our customers.

Your team stands out within DSV by its strong collaboration and informal atmosphere. You work in a close-knit team where everyone is dedicated to supporting both customers and colleagues.

You bring

• a proactive work attitude, with a critical mindset and the ability to ask the right questions – to both customers and internal teams;
• experience in a customer or solution-oriented role;
• knowledge of the logistics industry is a plus otherwise, we're happy to teach you the ropes;
• proficiency in English speaking Dutch or another foreign language is a definite advantage.
