In this department, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact on HR processes in a dynamic, multicultural environment: you’re on it. 

How you do this? As an HR business partner, you take on a versatile, independent advisory role, covering all aspects of the HR field. Together with three colleagues, you are responsible both operationally and tactically for everything related to HR across several locations in South-East Netherlands. Administrative HR tasks are handled centrally by HR Support, allowing you to focus fully on HR itself rather than spending hours on administration. At DSV, communication lines are short and decisions are made quickly. You will report to the Senior HR Manager South-East Netherlands.

Your main responsibility as an HR business partner is to proactively support and advise management and supervisors on implementing HR policies, while identifying developments and potential challenges. This means you’ll be in frequent contact with a variety of people in a multicultural setting. One moment you’ll be discussing employee development with a manager, and the next you’ll be supporting a supervisor with absence management. No day is ever the same, it keeps you sharp and energised!

Alongside your colleagues, you will also contribute (at a national level) to the continuous improvement and optimisation of HR processes and the further development of a growth-oriented HR strategy. You achieve this by:

  • monitoring and supporting recruitment, development and exit processes;
  • advising and supporting local management in implementing HR policies and guiding their employees on complex/strategic matters;
  • overseeing the execution of established HR policies;
  • taking part in projects related to people and organisational development;
  • proactively identifying HR issues, raising them for discussion and, where possible, helping to resolve them.

Your team stands out within DSV by its informal atmosphere and short lines of communication. You’ll work closely with three colleagues to tackle HR challenges both tactically and operationally. Together, you’ll have the freedom to take independent decisions, bring in new ideas and optimise processes in a multicultural and dynamic environment.

You bring

  • a completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR (such as HRM or Personnel & Labour), and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • experience in advising managers and working within a production or logistics environment;
  • an entrepreneurial, proactive sparring partner who can act independently and with confidence;
  • excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, in Dutch and English;
  • based in South-East Netherlands and willing to travel within the region.
