Move forward as Logistics Engineer, Process Design & Deploy at DSV in Venlo
Are you ready to work in a dynamic, international environment where you optimise logistics processes and design scalable, future-proof solutions? Then this role is perfect for you!
You get it done
Do you want to make a global impact by optimising logistics processes and designing future-proof solutions? This is your chance to contribute to customer implementations, migrations, and process improvements on a worldwide scale. You will translate customer needs into efficient process solutions that are scalable, standardised, and future-ready, regardless of the region: you’re on it.
How you do this? As a logistics engineer, process design & deploy, you will have an international role within the EMEA region, where you analyse, design, and optimise logistics processes. You will translate customer requirements for implementations, migrations, and optimisations into efficient process designs that are scalable and standardised. You will design logistics workflows, warehouse layouts, and material flows that contribute to the optimal functioning of the organisation, while substantiating choices for picking strategies, storage methods, repacking, and shipping processes.
You ensure that your designs comply with DSV standards and contribute to reducing operational costs. Additionally, you conduct data analysis to improve processes and monitor performance. You support the setup of master data and contribute to the documentation and quality assurance of processes.
You will work closely with various teams to successfully execute implementations and migrations within the EMEA region, ensuring synergy between projects. Your work is crucial for streamlining and improving DSV’s processes worldwide. You achieve this by:
- defining the business needs that must be met, regardless of the customer’s location;
- designing and optimising logistics workflows and operational structures with a focus on globalisation and standardisation;
- creating warehouse layouts that ensure efficient operations worldwide, including hardware and the optimal flow of products, employees, and equipment;
- illustrating various process flows, including capacity requirements, which can be applied globally and optimised for each region.
Your team stands out within DSV by its close collaboration with IT, Operations, and Project Management. Together, you ensure successful implementations, migrations, and process optimisations. Thanks to your expertise, standardised, scalable, and efficient logistics solutions are realised.
