Move forward as Logistics Process Engineer at DSV in Europe

Are you ready to work in a dynamic, international environment where you optimize logistics processes and design scalable, future-proof solutions? Then this role is perfect for you!

You get it done

Do you want to make a global impact by optimizing logistics processes and designing future-proof solutions? You will have the opportunity to contribute to customer implementations, migrations, and process improvements carried out across Europe. You translate customer needs into efficient process solutions that are scalable, standardized, and future-proof: you’re on it.

How you do this? As a logistics process engineer, you will take on an international role in which you analyze, design, and optimize logistics processes within the European region. You translate customer requirements for implementations, migrations, and optimizations into efficient process designs that are scalable and standardized. You design logistics workflows, warehouse layouts, and material flows that contribute to the optimal operation of the organization, while substantiating decisions regarding picking strategies, storage methods, repacking, and shipping processes.

You ensure that your designs comply with DSV standards and reduce operational costs. You support the setup of master data and contribute to process documentation and quality assurance.

You work closely with various teams to successfully execute implementations and migrations across the European region, ensuring synergy between projects. Your work is crucial in streamlining and improving DSV’s processes throughout Europe. You achieve this by:

  • describing the business needs that must be fulfilled, regardless of the customer’s location;
  • designing and optimizing logistics workflows and operational structures with a focus on globalization and standardization;
  • designing warehouse layouts that operate efficiently worldwide, including hardware setup and determining the optimal flow of products, employees, and equipment;
  • illustrating various process flows, including capacity requirements, that can be globally applied and optimized for each region.

Your team stands out within DSV by the close collaboration with Solution Design, Operations, and Project Management. Together, you ensure successful implementations, migrations, and process optimizations. Thanks to your expertise, standardized, scalable, and efficient logistics solutions are realized.
