Are you a natural problem solver and see opportunities to continuously improve logistics processes? As a logistics process engineer, you will work with the latest technologies and implement them in our warehouse in 's-Heerenberg.

You get it done

As a logistics process engineer, your focus will be on executing projects aimed at designing and optimizing logistics processes. Whether it’s inbound, outbound, or value-added logistics, you map out processes from start to finish. Together with the team, you work on process improvements and implement new solutions for our customers: You’re on it.

How you do this? You will work in an organization with short lines of communication, where you’ll have plenty of freedom to put your ideas into practice. You’ll work with advanced warehouse automation technologies while also optimizing traditional processes. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the future of our logistics services, with a strong focus on sustainability and efficiency. You achieve this by:

• translating customer requirements into a concrete package of demands and wishes;
• designing and improving logistics processes;
• translating logistics and value-added service activities into costs and rates;
• actively participating in projects to improve the logistics process, such as large-scale automation projects or new customer implementations, as well as enhancements to existing processes;
• focusing on continuously improving and standardizing departmental processes and internal and external collaborations.

You bring

• a bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics management, supply chain, engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field;
• around 2 years of experience in a similar role;
• knowledge of logistics data analysis and logistics processes/systems, ideally complemented by knowledge of logistics automation and mechanization;
• strong communication skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders;
• affinity with WMS systems.
