Whether you already have experience in air freight or are completely new to the field, we will train you to efficiently manage time-critical shipments. You will learn how to navigate between carriers, agencies, and airlines, and develop the insight to consistently deliver the optimal transport solution. In this way, you will quickly grow into a valued professional within our team and contribute to the high customer satisfaction of our key accounts: You’re on it.

How you do this? You convert customer requests into effective transport solutions and accurately record them in our systems. You maintain contact with carriers and keep customers informed about the progress of their shipments. Additionally, you will be involved in the correct invoicing of shipments, cost control and you strive for success to ensure high KPI quality. As the main point of contact for our key accounts, you are the reliable professional who ensures a smooth and efficient transport flow. You achieve this by:

• processing incoming orders and converting them into export shipments;
• invoicing the dossiers, shipments and handling of the associated cost control;
• coordinating with airlines, carriers, and DSV divisions to schedule shipments;
• monitoring booked shipments and ensuring a smooth transport process;
• updating customers on their shipments via phone and email;
• tracking agreed customer arrangements and established KPIs and keeping customers periodically informed of achieved results.

You bring

• hbo-level education, working and thinking level with good communication, commercial skills;
• previous experience as a freight forwarder, expediter, or air export agent is a plus, but not required, we will train you;
• customer-focused and persistent, thriving in a collaborative team environment;
• motivated, with a sense of humor and an active, sporty attitude;
• fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
