Move forward as Manager Project & System Implementation at DSV Netherlands
Aim to go far? You can! With us, at DSV. We keep growing and are therefore looking for a strategic and coaching Manager Project & System Implementation at a national level. Are you familiar with the 3PL landscape, and do we find in you a strong leader who takes full responsibility for all nationwide project and system implementations? Then come build with us, together. Because, we win as one. DSV.
You get it done
You are an energetic, strategic builder. You recognize the paths that need to be set, how to empower teams, and how to seize opportunities. This applies to both regional and national projects, focused on implementing customer operations and the related Warehouse Management System (WMS), as well as other nationwide applications. This new role of Manager Project & System Implementation is your chance to truly make an impact within DSV. We move forward, and the great thing is: You’re on it.
How you do this? With your solid hands-on experience in project management and methodology, you are able to independently define strategies and provide direction at strategic, policy, and commercial levels. Whether it is advising, implementing, or migrating large, complex customers, determining and monitoring budgets, nationally upgrading our WMS, developing management dashboards, or overseeing and steering local and national projects, you deliver. You achieve this by:
- supporting and advising Business Development in commercial processes and preparing realistic implementation budgets for customer implementation projects;
- taking ownership of a portfolio of projects, such as customer implementations, operational relocations, system implementations, and migrations;
- being ultimately responsible for setting up project management methodology and implementing and securing this within the Dutch organization;
- translating business requirements into Management Dashboards, Power Apps, and other reporting tools;
- taking the lead on complex and large-scale projects when your knowledge and expertise are required;
- defining migration strategies and planning for WMS and non-WMS applications, while ensuring continuity and functional optimization of centrally managed applications such as Protime, Topdesk, Ortec, Planon, Bizzmine, and more.
Your team stands out within DSV by its combination of experience, expertise, and the drive to successfully deliver complex projects together. You work with dedicated colleagues from various fields, from engineers to operations, who collaborate closely on logistics operations for both new-build projects and existing sites.

- willingness to travel within the Netherlands to visit our customers and DSV sites;
- good verbal skills of both Dutch (B2) and English.
