Are you ready to truly make an impact and take the lead from managing current customers, to our move to the new 240,000 m² site at Logistiek Park Moerdijk, and onboarding new clients? As operations manager, you ensure everything runs smoothly. You inspire teams, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the further professionalisation of our site.

You play a key role in the growth and further development of our warehouse. You directly contribute to the optimisation of our processes and the development of your team. This is your moment to make a real impact on the future of our organisation: you’re on it.

How you do this? You are responsible for leading a team of currently three to four Warehouse Supervisors. You hold final responsibility for the effective and efficient execution of our logistics processes. Your focus is on optimising these processes to consistently meet the high standards of our customers.

You ensure your team performs at its best by actively contributing to their growth. You recognise the talents and strengths of your team members and make sure the right people are in the right roles. You motivate and inspire your team to grow both individually and collectively. Moreover, you’re not only results-driven, but also have a clear vision for the future and take ownership of escalation and change management. You achieve this by:

• driving process improvements, digitalisation, and automation to ensure efficiency and future readiness of our warehouse;
• actively contributing to the growth and development of your team and ensuring optimal staff deployment;
• continuously improving processes with a strong focus on quality built into your DNA;
• bridging functional needs and technical solutions without losing sight of varying interests;
• identifying synergies across operations with strong situational awareness and tailored communication.

Your team stands out within DSV through a strong focus on collaboration, development, and continuous improvement. You’ll work with a diverse group of around 100 colleagues in operations from supervisors to floor staff. It’s a dynamic environment where a passionate and committed team constantly raises the bar.

You bring

• passion for the logistics profession your enthusiasm is contagious;
• experience in a leadership role, preferably within transport or logistics;
• knowledge of and experience with Lean Six Sigma and managing impactful improvement and innovation projects;
• strong analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and define effective solutions or process improvements;
• fluency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
