Within this department, you have the opportunity to make a real impact on HR processes in a dynamic and multicultural environment: you’re on it. 

How you do this? As a P&O business partner, you fulfil an independent advisory role in which you are operationally and tactically responsible for all HR matters. Your base location is Eemshaven and you are also responsible for the sites in Westpoort and Winschoten. Administrative HR tasks are centrally organised within HR Support, allowing you to fully focus on advisory work, development and optimisation. Together with your colleagues, you also contribute nationally to the continuous development and optimisation of HR processes and to shaping a development-oriented HR policy. You achieve this by:

  • monitoring and supporting inflow, internal mobility and outflow;
  • advising and supporting local management in the implementation of HR policy and in guiding their employees on complex or strategic matters;
  • ensuring correct execution and compliance with established HR policies;
  • participating in projects related to people and organisational development;
  • proactively identifying HR-related issues, making them discussable and contributing to effective solutions.

You bring

  • a completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR (such as HRM or Personnel & Labour), and at least 3 years of proven experience in a similar role;
  • experience advising managers within a production or logistics environment;
  • an entrepreneurial and proactive sparring partner who works independently and confidently;
  • excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in Dutch and English;
  • residence in the Groningen region and willingness to visit the other 2 sites when required.
