How you do this? As a payroll specialist, you are responsible for the entire payroll process, ensuring all salary payments are made on time, accurately, and completely every month. You carefully collect all necessary data, process various payroll mutations such as hiring and terminations, salary changes, and bonuses, and thoroughly check these to prevent errors.

In addition, you archive all relevant documentation according to current guidelines, so the administration is always clear and auditable. You serve as the main point of contact for employees, managers, and HR Business Partners regarding pay slips, payments, tax matters, and other payroll-related topics. 

You are a self-starter with strong analytical skills and excellent numerical insight. You communicate clearly and effectively and are able to present information in an accessible way. With your positive, proactive attitude and drive to work with your immediate colleagues to implement lasting improvements, you contribute to both short- and long-term success. You achieve this by:

• carefully preparing, accurately entering, and thoroughly checking payroll mutations, as well as time and expense claims;
• preparing and managing analyses and reports within Profit/AFAS for various stakeholders;
• conducting both regular and ad hoc checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the payroll administration;
• proactively monitoring changes in payroll laws and regulations and timely implementing necessary adjustments within processes.

You bring

• proven experience in a similar role and ready for the next step in your career;
• proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• knowledge of AFAS / Profit or other comparable payroll systems;
• excellent Excel skills and ease with complex spreadsheets;
• a completed PDL qualification. If you haven’t yet obtained this but plan to, DSV offers you the opportunity to complete it through us.
