Move forward as Project Manager at DSV in Venlo
Are you a results-driven leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for successfully completing projects? Then this position as Project Manager at DSV is your opportunity to realise your ambitions.
You get it done
You’ll be working on challenging and dynamic projects and customer implementations that have a direct impact on our growth and success. You ensure they are delivered on time and to the highest standards: you’re on it.
How you do this? As a project manager, you ensure everything runs smoothly. You motivate your project team, clearly communicate project goals, and meticulously manage the details of implementations and customer integrations. You keep stakeholders continuously informed of progress, ensuring transparency and alignment. You inspire and motivate your team by creating a results-oriented work environment where they feel supported and empowered to perform at their best.
You will be working on projects within our Road department, often involving large and complex customers. In challenging situations, you remain calm and solution-oriented. You identify risks early, think ahead, and intervene when necessary. With your attention to detail, you monitor progress and ensure everything is executed in line with agreed quality standards and deadlines. You organise and delegate tasks efficiently to keep the project on track at all times. You identify potential delays and risks and communicate these to the relevant stakeholders.
For customer implementations, you ensure the right stakeholders are involved on time so that, together with the customer, you can make all necessary preparations for a successful and timely go-live. You take full ownership of achieving the project objectives and ensure everything is successfully delivered from start to finish. You achieve this by:
- leading your project team and supporting them at every stage of the project;
- planning and following up on assigned projects, monitoring deadlines and overall project planning;
- coordinating projects with all relevant (internal) stakeholders;
- accurately processing and monitoring project details to ensure the highest quality and compliance;
- quickly resolving issues and maintaining a results-driven approach, even in challenging situations.
Once both parties are satisfied and agree that the implementation has been successfully completed, you close out the project.
Your team stands out within DSV by its strong culture of collaboration, tackling every challenge with enthusiasm and focus. Everyone has a clear role and works together towards one goal: success. The department is dynamic, collegial, and committed to continuous improvement.
