Move forward as Shunter at DSV in Venlo
You make sure trailers are exactly where they need to be. As a shunter, you are an indispensable link. You work accurately, think ahead, and only go home when everything is spot on. Ready to get moving? Move forward as a shunter.
You get it done
Everything you do revolves around a tightly organised flow of goods: you’re on it.
How you do this? As a shunter, you are responsible for efficiently moving trailers around the site. You ensure every trailer is in the right dock at the right time, so loading and unloading run smoothly. You operate in a dynamic environment with schedules, shifting priorities, and a constant flow of transport movements. Thanks to your insight, precision, and timing, the logistics process keeps running seamlessly. You achieve this by:
- carefully moving, coupling, and uncoupling trailers on site;
- checking the shunter vehicle for safety and readiness;
- spotting and reporting defects or irregularities in the equipment.
Your team stands out within DSV by it’s close cooperation, sense of responsibility, and the pace at which you work. Everyone knows what is expected and steps in where needed. Thanks to this commitment, operations keep running smoothly. Whether it’s peak times, unexpected schedule changes, or quick trailer movements, you work together, keep an overview, and make sure everything runs like clockwork.
